Classic Christian Rock Radio Podcast

My interview with four (yes, not just one but four) members of the Michigan based band Nails of Grace. This was a live interview from my October 13, 2011 show. A band with a definite "classic rock" vibe, hear their story and how they hope to influence lives for Christ.

Recorded during my live show on October 6, 2011, this podcast features a conversation with David Wagner from the band What About Monday?, based out of Sheboygan, Wisconsin. Hear about the band's ministry in Correctional Facilities, and David's testimony of coming to faith in Christ. The podcast also features some tracks from the band's CD "Give The Word A Chance."

Originally broadcast on September 22, 2011, this podcast features my conversation with Marq Speck from the band Sweet Crystal. From the Detroit area, Sweet Crystal has been together for over 30 years (simply amazing). Hear Marq talk about the band's history and his story of coming to faith in Christ, as well as how the Lord healed his vocal chords after surgery. The podcast features tracks from the band's CD "III".

HM Magazine's Doug Van Pelt talks about his new book "Desert High". Think "Back To The Future" meets "Friday Night Lights" meets "The Right Stuff". The book is very autobiographical in nature, and Doug talks about his teenage years, football, and being an Air Force brat. Hear about that one football game that got away and still haunts Doug to this day. This interview was originally broadcast August 4, 2011.

Dave Kelly was a member of the Christian group Ark and did solo work as well. Dave was part of a group that was signed to Apple Records (the Beatles label) back in the day, was once invited to sing for Badfinger, was a personal assistant to Bob Dylan, and so much more. This conversation is a journey through music history, and is one of my favorites. This is part two of a two part interview.

Originally broadcast June 2, 2011. Dana Angle was a member of The Way, one of the groups that was part of the Jesus Movement at Calvary Chapel in Southern California in the early 1970's. Dana shares about what it was like in those early days, and how The Way was formed. Fascinating conversation from someone who was actually there in the early days of the Jesus Music Movement.
